Me: Niko, why are you still awake?
Niko: I'm not.

Jodi Friesen: Canada; I come here to process, to unwind, to recharge, to share a moment of my day - if nothing else, for myself, so I can reflect on the journey. I write when it feels good - interesting or not, tactful or not, funny or not, relevant or not, regularly or not. I don't write for you, really, so if you read, take from it what brings you peace, joy, or growth and throw away what does not. My thoughts, mood, and writing are influenced greatly my those in my house: my husband Bernie, son Niko (born Jan 2010), son Emerson (born Aug 2011) and son Lachlan (born May 2013). They may come up in conversation. I love Jesus, that may also come up in conversation.
